No one trade fair is held without active participation and full support of the regional and the city Administrations. For many years «Kuzbass Fair» has established close business relations with many ministries, departments, branch committees, trade unions, well-known Russian and foreign companies, exhibition centres. Annually «Kuzbass Fair» holds specialized trade fairs for more than 50 themes. The leading position in the region belongs to the trade fairs «Metallurgy», «Rosmash, «Welding. Rosmetallostroy», «Architecture. Construction», «Wood. Woodworking», «Transport. Road Equipment», «Communication», «Prodmarket. Sibbeer». The exhibitions and fairs for polygraphy and advertisement, education and employment, press and the book, tourism and sports, gardening, fire-fighting, security equipment and ecology of Siberia, municipal services, medicine and health care of children, bank and realty estate are very popular with business people as well as with ordinary residents of Kuzbass.
Kuzbass is a coal mining region, its economy is based on fuel power complex and metallurgy. That is why the main event for «Kuzbass Fair» is the International specialized trade fair for mining technologies «Ugol Rossii & Mining», which has greatest influence on development of coal mining enterprises of our region as well as of Russia, on expansion of the foreign trade. Since 1996 «Ugol Rossii & Mining» has been held under the Sign of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, since 2003 – under the Sign of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (Paris, France). At II German-Russian forum «Perspectives of Co-operation in Business and Congress Activity in 2005 – 2010», held in autumn, 2005 in Duesseldorf, the International specialized trade fair for mining technologies «Ugol Rossii & Mining» received the highest appreciation: nowadays in the whole exhibition space it is recognized as the largest and the most significant, Trade Fair №1 for Underground Coal Mining Technologies).
Taking into account social-economic situation and demands of the region, the exhibition company «Kuzbass Fair» constantly improves forms and methods of its work. 1992 – the first exhibition company in Kemerovo Ovlast – «Kuzbass Fair» (Novokuznetsk) was founded.
1994 – «Kuzbass Fair» became the member of Kuzbass Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
1995 – «Kuzbass Fair» was adopted as a member of the Union of Exhibitions and Fairs of Russia, CIS and Baltic countries (nowadays – Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
1995, May – the International trade fair «Intermed» got the highest appreciation – was awarded the Sign of the Union of Exhibitions and Fairs «For the High Professional Level of Organization, Great Contribution to Economy of the Region and Extending of International Economic Relations».
1996, May – the International trade fair «Ugol Rossii» was awarded the Sign of the Union of Exhibitions and Fairs of Russia, CIS and Baltic Countries for «High Professional Level of Organization».
2000, June – first the International trade fair «Ugol Rossii & Mining» was held in co-operation with the world leading exhibition company «Messe Duesseldorf» (Germany). More than 300 enterprises and firms, including 90 foreign companies), took part in the exhibition.
2001, June – forum «Ugol Rossii & Mining» was recognized by specialists as the main trade fair for mining technologies in Russia and one of the five leading trade fairs in the world for coal mining technologies in the world.
2003, February – «Kuzbass Fair» is the Laureate of the Prize of Journalist Recognition «For Contribution into Development of Siberia – 2002» – Yermak Prize – in nomination «For Support of Business in Siberia». 2003, June – the trade fair «Ugol Rossii & Mining» celebrated its 10th anniversary. Organizers got the official confirmation that the trade fair is held under patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
2003, October – at the 70th Congress of the Gloval Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, «Kuzbass Fair» was adopted as a full-right member of this worldwide exhibition community. The international forum «Ugol Rossii & Mining» was approved by the Association and was awarded Honourable UFI Sign.
2005, June – specialized trade fair «Transport. Road Building Equipment», «Autoservice» was awarded the IUEF Sign.
2006, January – specialized trade fairs «Architecture. Construction», «Finishing Materials. Interior. Design» got the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
